Endorsing the project (Finding it cool and leave their logo and sign support) Helping with the training of the MRF staff Motivating surrounding communities by bringing their own company trash to the MRF Sponsoring parts of the costs for building, setup and operating Sponsoring incentives for the motivational Reward component
We need the help of our Mechanical Engineering Academics to create a country wide contest for engineering the best local “Basura Wil” (Deans and Professors of ME Universities)
Local Government Units must support by:
Finding the best possible locations for the PlasticPlug Providing the required MRF area (in sync with RA 9003) or arrange transport to existing MRF Handle the sales of the recovered materials and collect the revenues Employ the necessary workforce and pay them from the profits of the recovered materials Permit the publishing of the collected data to the central digital component for monitoring/reporting Support and drive the awarding system for the motivational Reward component
Tasks for the National Government:
Advise Municipalities to handle the PlasticPlug Create rules framework for involved parties (i.e. fishermen/ship crews) Report success to SDG Report and on all other relevant international reports Inform citizen about the success ( restore Pinoy Pride) Support and drive the awarding system for the motivational Reward component on national level
